2019 Recap

So I was going to try to write this whole big 2019 recap…but let’s face it, those can get boring. So, we’re going with bullet points, in no particular order. In 2019, I:

– published Shattered Honor

– completed Faded Embers (scheduled for release January 21, 2020)

– drafted and revised The Stars Wait Not (Book 1 of the Star Realm Saga)

– finished first draft of A House of Nebulas (Book 2 of the Star Realm Saga)

– attended DFWCon

– attended Realm Makers

– expanded a military scifi flash piece from 1500 to 9000 words

– drafted 22,000-word unnamed novella in the Shadows of War universe

– revamped the unnamed 5th Shadows of War novel…currently at 29,000 words

– drafted and revised ‘Leaving Humanity’, my weird little space horror short

– completed 11,000 words of the ‘Leaving Humanity’ sequel – possibly a novella, quite likely a novel

Estimated words written: 153,000

Miles traveled for conferences: 3050

Aesthetic boards created: too many (‘Leaving Humanity’ below!)

  1. Fantastic 2019! Certainly skads better than my attempts at being an author last year.
    Wishing you a beautiful 2020.
